About me
Staci Shaw has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Education, taught in the classroom for 15 years, worked as a mathematical instructional coach, and worked with students with learning disabilities. Staci has been a consultant at the Idaho Commission for Libraries since 2008, coordinating early learning programs, training library staff in early learning pedagogy, and helping Idaho libraries reach underserved and at-risk families. Her current work with Idaho’s libraries strives to support third grade reading proficiency through collaborative community partnerships, and helping libraries develop free kindergarten readiness programs for families with limited preschool options.
