About me
Tamara Palmer is a Children’s Librarian with the Santa Clara County Library District, has a Bachelor of Arts in Multiple Subjects and a Teaching Credential from Humboldt State University, and an MLIS from San José State University. Prior to her 16 years as a librarian, she was a climbing instructor, outdoor education teacher, elementary school teacher, summer (art) camp director, and multimedia artist. She cultivates joy through presenting storytimes, sharing art programs, mentoring staff, community connections, hiking, gardening, cooking and baking, reading graphic novels, and listening to audiobooks and podcasts.
