About me
I am an Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the Information Equity, Diverse Communities, and Critical Librarianship track at the University of Rhode Island’s Graduate School of Library and Information Studies. My work focuses on understanding the public library as an informal learning space and community place for children and families, with an emphasis on equity of access. Most recently I have been studying the co-constructed relationship between unattended children and the public library using placemaking and critical childhood theory.
